'2010 Mokopuna'
'Mokopuna' is named for our grandchildren who love to run through the vines, bellies full of grapes, their laughter echoing across the vineyard.
Soft full nose of ripe tropical fruits, goosberries and capsicums, and a little lemon-grass. Dry and crisp on palate, with subtly expressed flavours of lifted tropical fruits and gooseberries on a softly textured, rounded palate. Good fresh acidity adds a degree of lusciousness to the fruit.
'2009 Mokopuna' - SOLD OUT
Aromas of grapefruit and lime zest with a hint of honeysuckle blossom. The palate is lively with good structure and weight, concentrated lime and gooseberry flavours, while herbaceous with a dash of sassy nettle.
'2008 Mokopuna' - SOLD OUT
Crafted by winemaker Jane Cooper, the 2008 Sauvignon Blanc shows lifted passionfruit and lime aromas enhanced by crisp apple and gooseberry characteristics on the palate and a textured citrus finish.
